Biography

Norman assists DN Capital with technical evaluations of potential portfolio companies and assists DN Capital’s companies with operations and technology. Norman has been building consumer internet products and infrastructures since 2000.

Prior to joining DN Capital, Norman worked as Vice President of Engineering for Ebates. Ebates is high growth e-commerce company based in San Francisco and part of the Rakuten family of companies. Norman was responsible for web scraping technology, shopping cart, card linked offers and cross border commerce. Norman also worked in similar roles for Yahoo and Google as Senior Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager respectively. Between 2012 and 2014, Norman was the CTO of DN Capital portfolio company Invino.

He holds a PhD in physics from Carnegie Mellon University, PA and B.Sc in Physics from Fudan University, China.
